The picture was taken in Bagan early in the morning when the light was perfect.
Bagan is a small town in Myanmar, formerly Burma, which is located in Asia.
Bagan is known as the city of temple ruins. There are hundreds of ruins of old temples. Both very small and many as large as a large church.
Every morning at five o'clock hot air balloons sail past in the air with tourists who want to see the temples from above.
The balloons always arrive in connection with sunrise and this helps to get a good picture. The fog against the horizon makes the picture even more exciting.
You have to pinch your arm hard to realize that you are actually there. A very exciting place on the globe.
