The Terracotta Army is the name for the archaeological discovery of about 8,000 terracotta figures that were given as grave goods to China's first emperor Qin Shi Huangdi. The 'army' is located between Mount Li and modern-day Xi'an. These remains at the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi (259 BC-210 BC) are a UNESCO world heritage site.
