The Allgäu Alps above a cow pasture by Lake Forggensee

by ManfredFotos

A vast cow pasture set against the backdrop of the Allgäu Alps characterises this rural landscape around Lake Forggensee. Several cattle graze peacefully on the lush green meadow, adding a touch of life against the imposing mountains. Behind the pasture, a small settlement with red and light-coloured roofs winds its way through the landscape, before dark, wooded slopes and striking rocky peaks rise up. The individual mountain peaks are clearly visible, but have deliberately not been named here, as it is not possible to identify them with certainty from the photograph alone. A pleasant sky with white clouds and patches of blue stretches across the scene. Green, blue, grey and the warm brown tones of the cattle create a natural, balanced colour scheme. The image conveys a sense of tranquillity, down-to-earthness and the characteristic connection between agriculture and the Alpine landscape in the Allgäu. As a wall hanging, the wide format brings a sense of rural expanse to living or dining areas and harmonises particularly well with wood and natural materials. For lovers of the Allgäu, mountain enthusiasts and holidaymakers at Lake Forggensee, this photograph evokes memories of leisurely walks through the green Alpine foothills.
