As the artist, I sought to create a figure that embodies both strength and vulnerability, set against a striking red backdrop that symbolizes intensity and emotion. The humanoid form, clad in an astronaut-like suit, represents a journey—both outward into the unknown and inward into the self.
The diagonal split of green and white across the figure’s body is intentional, symbolizing contrast and balance. Green, with its vibrant energy, reflects growth, nature, and vitality, while white conveys purity, clarity, and the unknown. The dark visor on the helmet serves as a mirror, inviting viewers to see themselves in the figure and reflect on their own dualities.
The textured red background, built with visible brushstrokes, creates a sense of movement and depth, amplifying the figure’s isolation yet grounding it in a space of raw emotion. The shadow cast to the lower left adds dimension, anchoring the figure in its environment.
