The Breithorn is a five-peaked, heavily glaciated mountain ridge running from west to east in the Valais Alps. The highest point of the ridge and at the same time the easiest four-thousand-metre peak in the Alps for mountaineering is the western summit (main summit, Breithorn Occidentale, 4160 m above sea level).
If you look closely at the picture, you can see various groups of mountaineers on their way to the summit.
