This is a magical place in the Belgian Ardennes, a place where you only hear the wind and the creaking of the old frozen and mutilated trees. These Scots pines were planted in 1850, but successive fires from 1950 onwards have transformed them into dead skeleton trees, jagged remnants that fit perfectly into the last piece of wilderness we can find in our regions.
