About ‘The Eagle and the Feminine’ by Nina IoKa

This is a mirror image of a painting.
It's a painting about self-love, which the pink colour stands for.

To my amazement, I saw this image come out.

You might have to use your imagination a bit, but you can distinguish a woman's face in this.

You can also see the shape of a bird, the "eagle". The shadow of the wings form the eyes of the woman's face.

The "head" of the bird forms at the same time the nose wings of the woman.

The red oval shape can be seen as the mouth. At the same time the association with the female genitalia is easily made. This refers to the female and sexuality.

It's about the revaluation of the feminine (which we all have inside us) and about breaking the taboo on sexuality (hence the red colour).

Here I found the association with the eagle so fitting, because spiritually speaking this bird stands for intuition,
sexual power, clairvoyance, spirituality and healing.
The power of the Eagle is the power of the Great Spirit, the connection with the divine.

All in all a work of art with a lot of symbolism!

I am an intuitive artist and I make photo art, paintings and drawings.
I make everything on feeling and let it flow, without thinking beforehand what it should be.

My greatest inspiration is nature. There's so much beauty there!

My photo art is created by editing photos of sunlight, water, trees, flowers, the sky. All sorts of surprising things pop up. I'll add elements later if I think that's appropriate.
