Amid the overgrown wilderness of desolation, a surreal scene unfolds. A polar bear, with a rebellious gleam in its eyes reminiscent of Blijdorp's rebellious adolescent Vicks, stands proudly in a dilapidated glass house. The image reflects a world where nature and human creations merge in a dreamy symphony of decay and rebellion.
The glasshouse, once a haven for green splendour, now witnesses the indomitable presence of this polar bear.

KRABsursionism! A name that reflects exactly what my style is. KRA are my initials, the B stands for "pictorial" or "extraordinary" or .... is simply the first letter of my surname. 'KRABsursionism' is not only an amalgamation of my initials and artistic style, but also a reflection of my personal identity and creative brain. This term bears my stamp of individuality and artistic expression, merging surrealism and expressionism into a unique and powerful expression of my vision of art. With this, the abstract often cubist forms are also a hallmark of my fantasy world where anything can and may come together but it doesn't have to.
Furthermore, you will see many contrasts. this is something you will discover in my artworks, such as the contrasts in a painting of dark and light tones. Think of the difference between digital art and analogue photography, like two dance partners, each with their own style, but always in harmony with emotion like our music.
When creating my art, I always strive to evoke emotions. Whether it is joy, sadness, or just a moment of stillness, the goal is always to touch a feeling that comes from deep within.
