The Googermolen is a ground-sailer near Roelofarendsveen, in the municipality of Kaag and Braassem, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The mill was built in 1717 for the purpose of pumping the Googerpolder. The Googermolen, which is the largest round stone ground-sailer in the Netherlands, operated exclusively on the wind until 1956. In that year, an auxiliary motor was installed in the mill to drive the auger. The Rijnlandse Molenstichting has owned the Googermolen since 1972. After a thorough restoration in the mid-1990s, the Googermolen is back in regular operation. The house in the mill is occupied.
