The Guggenheim Girl is a surrealistic portrait depicting the unity of women the art scene. In my mixed media works, I want to capture the versatility, connection, love and charm of women with a lot of currents in today's life. For instance, this work is an ode to all the amazing contemporary female artists we are fortunate to see more and more in art temples like the Guggenheim Art seems to be increasingly becoming an afterthought in today's political climate, which some think you can do without. The opposite is true.
Without art, life would be colourless, uninspired and joyless.
The work is composed of a drawing, made on my Wacom Cintiq Pro and parts of photos I took of the Guggenheim in Bilbao This beautifully coloured work is a real eye-catcher and can go in both dark and light interiors. Very nice above a natural-coloured sofa.
