Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

The Herring-Seller, Gabriël Metsu (1661-1662)

A woman selling fish has knocked on the door of an elderly customer, who approves a herring glistening in the sun. Bright light also falls on the blushing fish seller, who forms a fine contrast with the crooked old woman. Gabriël Metsu excelled in the rendering of materials and textures. The differences in texture of the skin of the fish, the old woman, and the young woman are particularly beautifully realized.
