In this colourful portrait, a girl with orange hair wears a hat that is not a hat: a beehive, carefully woven and decorated with tiny daisies. It looks as if nature itself has crowned her. From the hive do not sound a buzzing menace, but a quiet, inner energy. Butterflies, translucent, almost luminous, dance around her, like souls or thoughts in motion. A single bee flutters past, part of the rhythm that surrounds her.
She wears a blue blouse that almost merges with the soft background, making her even more part of the world she embodies. Her gaze is calm, her presence gentle but powerful.
This portrait grew out of my love for the small wonders of nature, and the role of women as protectors, bearers, connectors. The Keeper of Gentle Transformations is an ode to balance and fragility, to life growing in silence. Among flowers, wings and honey, you will find her, and perhaps yourself.
