Photography is light editing. But also seeing.
For instance, seeing in nature is so gigantic in its diversity and magic that it can be dizzying.
As a photographer, I try to capture the splendour of nature so that you can immortalise it with a work on your wall.
Here you can see the tiny mushrooms growing out of a beech tree bark. Mushrooms develop in places you would not expect. So here in the Haagse Bos in Twente.
With all their splendour, the tiny mushrooms come to take a look and want to make contact with the light through the deck of leaves in the sky.
The detail in these very small mushrooms is fantastic to look at and dwell upon.
