The famous painting of the Milkmaid by Johannes Vermeer has been digitally manipulated and placed in a side room of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam. This work is full of surprises. For example, the Night Watch, the masterpiece by Rembrandt van Rijn, hangs on the wall. If you look carefully through the window in the background you can discover that the ladies of the night who have a small sex room on the other side of the Oude Kerk have a potential customer standing in the window. Fortunately, the customer is unrecognizable!
This work is one of a kind and an eye-catcher on any wall!

About image-maker Peter Bartelings: as a born and bred Amsterdammer I feel -also as a photographer and image-maker- closely connected to the city of Amsterdam.
