Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

A few months ago, there was the story of a Russian guard in a museum who had drawn on a painting with a marker out of boredom. I imagined what would happen if a guard in the Louvre were bored _ and a new work was born. One takes Leonardo's Mona Lisa, a long,boring night,a blue marker and a bored guard,et voila,!
