A 16:9 photo of the Roman bridge in Cangas de Onis, located in the Spanish province of Asturias.
The town's most representative feature is the Roman bridge, which was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1931. It has five arches, three of which are pointed, and in the middle hangs a reproduction of the Victoria Cross.
The age of the structure, built on a dolmen in 437, was rebuilt by King Favila in 737 to guard the Victoria Cross. The last rebuilding work was carried out after the Spanish Civil War and revealed the dolmen, which dates back to 3000 BC.
