About ‘The Ruhr flows during blue hour in Monschau’ by Jeroen de Jongh Photography

Monschau is a charming town in the Eifel region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, picturesque landscapes and rich history.

Monschau's history dates back to the Middle Ages. It flourished in the 18th century as a centre for the cloth industry. The town is known for its half-timbered houses, cobbled streets and narrow alleys. Many buildings have been carefully preserved, giving the city a picturesque and historic atmosphere.

Monschau Castle, which overlooks the town, is a prominent landmark. Originally built in the 13th century, it offers panoramic views and hosts various cultural events. The Rotes Haus museum offers insights into the town's history and the cloth industry. It is a well-preserved 18th-century building with antique furniture and exhibitions.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
