Since my last move in 2014 I drove past this little lake several times a week, it is less than 4 kilometers from where I live. I was driving past it and I saw a beautiful sky I thought, well I have to go there with the camera? But well I am not a morning person so it did not happen. Now 8 years later it was finally time, the forecast was morning fog and I thought it had to come now, set the alarm and off to the Swan. What a beautiful morning!
The atmosphere I wanted to capture, a colorful rise of the Sun with reflections in the water was completely fulfilled. Every minute every second the sky changed color, a spectacle to see and a delight to the eyes.
To create a slightly slower shutter speed I used from a 6 Stops ND filter and a 0.6 soft gradient filter.
A work you definitely want on your wall!
Started with photography almost 10 years ago now. First the more ordinary pictures where by the way nothing is wrong with it. After a while I thought I could get more out of that camera? If I look at my work then it worked out well.
