The Tasman Tower at the front of the photo is an apartment complex in the Oosterhogebrug neighbourhood in the city of Groningen, province of Groningen and stands at the corner of the Eemskanaal and Oostersluis. The building is named after the Groningen explorer Abel Tasman and was built in 2008. The building consists of 23 floors and, at 75 metres, it is the sixth tallest building in the city of Groningen. The photo shows a nice overview of part of the city of Groningen. I took the photo on a misty summer morning with a balloon flight over Groningen towards the Zuidlaardermeer lake.
