About "The Three Musketeers, lovely mountain peaks"

About the artwork

Three snow-capped Alpine peaks, cosily side by side. That calls for the nickname 'The Three Musketeers', don't you think?

These three mountain peaks belong to the Hohe Tauern, an elongated mountain massif in the middle of the Central Alps in Austria. The Hohe Tauern are home to the highest mountains in Austria, the highest being the Grossglockner (3798 m). Since 1981, large parts of the mountain massif have been declared a national park.

I made the image in the picturesque Austrian mountain village of Heiligenblut, Carinthia. That village is best known for snow sports tourism, but also for its equally picturesque church, in typical picturesque Austrian Alpine style. But you can't see that in this picture now ;)

While my family members skied down the slopes, I took time out for two of my passions: trail running (which is great fun in the mountains, especially with a load of fresh and crunching snow, I managed to run a few vertical kilometres), and wandering around with my camera, looking for beautiful images. Both nature images, and of that picturesque little church.

An image to dream away at, I think to myself. An image to be on holiday at home, mentally travelling. Because mountains, snow I find very soothing, few stimuli, close to yourself, pure enjoyment.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
