One of the pictures that was created on site. I opted for acrylic here because it dries relatively quickly and I could continue painting. Of course there were already hotels in the bay of Faliraki at the time, so my artistic freedom was to simply leave them out, as almost all of them would have been smaller brushstrokes given the distance. Here I also realised how much the light can change during the course of the day.
My first camera was a bellows camera that I got as a present from my father when I was 12 years old because he had bought an SLR camera. Later, when I started painting, I realised that I chose almost the same motifs when painting as I did.. Read more…
