What a wonderful place to be: the beach and the sea!
There is always something to photograph at the coast, but I still like a deserted beach best. There may be a single boat to be seen or a bird for example, but purely nature by the sea is enough for me.
What I find so special when you are by the sea is that the light is different every day and at every moment of the day. And also the colours of the sea water and clouds are constantly changing. Every day when you go to the beach and you look over the dunes to the sea, you have a different view.
That is so special and that is why the sea and the beach never get boring for me. And that is also why I take my camera with me every time.
For me, this photo gives a sense of freedom, of holiday, of enjoyment, a summer feeling. This is the moment you walk the last bit before you reach the beach. You look between the last dunes and your gaze goes to the beautiful blue sea in front of you. Because on the day this photo was taken, the North Sea was a particularly beautiful shade of blue.
The row of clouds above it was perfect and created a nice layering in the photo.
