The bearded reedling is a beautiful species found in the Netherlands. They are true reed birds, meaning they are found in reed-rich, i.e. wetlands. The male as in this photo is known for his sideburns or also called for his drooping moustache. This photo was taken in Park Lingezegen near Elst and just below Arnhem.
