About the artwork

A monumental dune rises up against a dramatic sky - red like burnt clay, softly moulded by the wind. Next to it stands a single, dead tree that lends depth and character to the picture. In the foreground, delicate bushes break through the red earth - silent evidence of life in the most hostile of environments.

This motif was taken in the Namib-Naukluft Park, one of the oldest and most impressive desert landscapes on earth. It shows the spectacular beauty of the Namib: vastness, colours and contrasts that seem almost surreal - and yet are absolutely real.

The photographer has not only captured a landscape here, but a moment full of symbolism. The stillness of the desert, the power of nature, the interplay between life and transience. The dune looks like a wave of sand, ready to move on - while the tree remains silent and dignified.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
