About ‘The chick and the pearl’ by Corrine Ponsen

The girl with the pearl but with a big wink. This hen has spiky black feathers. There is a certain curl in it that makes her feathers curl up. She is jet black and earrings with pink pearls make her a chic little hen.
She stands on a pile of old vintage books in shades of green and gold. Between the books are pieces of fern and small pink and white flowers. The background is a lush green jungle. You can think of anything with this vintage photo. The light is soft and reminiscent of the old painters like Rembrandt. The lavish earrings and pearls that gives a nod to the golden age with the millstone collars and pleated collars.
A picture that looks painterly and with good attention to detail.

The girl with the pearl. This chicken has a lovely curly feathers who looks like fur. A deep black fur and she wears her pink pearls with pride. With her lovely earrings with pink pearls, she stands proud on a couple of old vintage books in the colours green and gold.
The tiny pink and shiny pearls and diamonds on the crown are just one of details you can find in the painterly photo.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
