I took this photo at the Staverden estate in the municipality of Ermelo in the Veluwe. You can see part of an ice cellar, the sort of thing you used to see quite often on estates; nowadays, this ice cellar is only used as a hibernation site for bats. Although this ice cellar is an old structure, you can still see rebar next to the path…

Welcome to my shop. My name is Gerard de Zwaan and I was born in 1983 in the Veluwe town of Harderwijk where I grew up and still live. I started photography in 2013. My first camera was a Nikon D3200 which I still own and is now as a spare camera, currently I use a Nikon D7200.
