The kingfisher caught a fish.
It was a beautiful day at a bird hide.
It was a surprise to suddenly see a kingfisher on this branch. And then also with a fish.
This bird is a female and still juvenile.
You can tell by the legs and beak.
The sun was shining so its beautiful blue and orange colouring came out nicely
