About ‘The lost time - Fractal’ by Petra Köhler

Once upon a time there was a man who was constantly thinking about how to make the best use of his time. He was always in a hurry and rarely saw the beauty around him. One day he came across a pocket watch that had belonged to him when he was a little boy. He had not seen this watch for years. When he opened the watch, he noticed that it had not worked for a long time. It was as if time had stopped inside. The man decided to repair the watch and make it work again. He felt that by doing this he could make up for the lost time he had wasted in life. So he took the watch to a watchmaker who eventually got it working again. The man was overjoyed when he heard that the watch was working again. He started carrying it around all the time and felt he had more control over his time, but he soon realised that he was still in a hurry and rarely saw the beauty around him. He realised that time could not be brought back and that it would be better to focus on the moment and the beauty in every second of his life. He decided to stop wearing the watch and instead live in more mindful moments of the present.

I am a passionate registered nurse for the elderly. In the past I photographed a lot. Today I use the camera almost only on vacation. I lack the time for my hobbies. I like to work with different image editing programs. So I can get also pictures, which did not succeed to me. In this way many a digital work of art is created. And that makes motifs that are photographed by the millions unique.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
