About the artwork

The Dali Desert, located in the Salar d'Uyuni region of Bolivia, is a surreal landscape worthy of Salvador Dalí's paintings. Although none of the artist&#039s works are directly linked to it, its vast expanses of ochre sand, distant mountains and strange rock formations evoke a dreamlike world. This desert, perched at an altitude of around 4,800 metres, offers a unique experience, where the silence and immensity of nature seem suspended in time.
Visitors can admire rocks sculpted by the wind over thousands of years, some of which are reminiscent of modern sculptures. The desert is often included in tours leading to the Salar d'Uyuni, the largest salt desert in the world, and other natural wonders of the Bolivian Altiplano, such as colourful lagoons and geysers.
The Dali Desert embodies the meeting of art and nature, where each element of the landscape seems to tell a unique story. This remote location is ideal for photography enthusiasts, adventure-seeking travellers and those wishing to explore places off the beaten track.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
