The Borobudur temple is a major tourist attraction of Java, Indonesia. It is a Buddhist shrine 40 km northwest of Jogjakarta. Located near Mount Merapi, Indonesia's most active volcano, the temple was built during the period from 750-850. The temple is built as a large stupa and its base is 123 by 123 metres. The stupa has 9 floors, these represent the Buddhist cosmos. Chosen to capture several features in this photograph. Part of the temple, as well as the beautiful garden around it. Part of the Unesco World Heritage Site. The temple is a very big popular tourist attraction and after Covid, it was decided not to allow tourists to walk on the temple due to subsidence problems. Despite this, it remains a special place to walk around. This work, because of its rich colours, is very beautiful in home interiors.
