These stepped gable buildings are on the corner of Prinsengracht and Brouwersgracht. In 2007 the Amsterdammers declared the Brouwersgracht the most beautiful canal in the city! The canal is part of Amsterdam's famous ring of canals, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. World Heritage is cultural and natural heritage that is considered irreplaceable, unique and owned by the whole world, and of which it is considered to be of great importance to preserve.
