About the artwork

The Gornergrat (3089 m) is one of those places you have to visit once in your life. The mountain panorama and the unique view of the Matterhorn remain unforgettable. With its sunny viewing platform accessible all year round, the Gornergrat at 3089 m has been one of Switzerland's top excursion destinations since 1898. The Gornergrat Bahn was the first fully electrified rack railway in Switzerland.

On the south-western tip of the ridge is the Kulmhotel, which is the highest mountain hotel in Switzerland. Two astronomical observatories of the HFSJG (High Alpine Research Stations Jungfraujoch and Gornergrat) were built on the two towers of the mountain hotel in the late 1960s.

4478 metres high, striking and unmistakable, perfectly shaped like an Egyptian pyramid, it stands there, at the end of the Mattertal, in the middle of the Valais Alps: the Matterhorn. With the first ascent in 1865, the "Matterhorn myth" was born and quickly went around the world. The Matterhorn - the mountain of mountains. The most photographed mountain in the world. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
