It is a winter morning and we take a walk through the palace gardens behind palace 't Loo. What a beautiful walk you can take here through the gardens and woods of this park.
Near the pond you will find several cottages, including this blue boathouse. Will the colour have to do with the many kingfishers that can be seen here? In any case, it does have the same colour.
The sun shines beautifully on the cottage here, making the colour blue look so pretty.
There is a thin layer of ice on the pond, which means it will be difficult for the kingfisher to find food. Yet we see one trying, it quickly skims her across the ice. Wow, what a fluke that is!
We enjoy the park immensely this morning, and also hit the William Temple and the old shed on the other pond.
