I was born on 23 January 1963 in Venlo and grew up in the city centre. After graduating from the Grafisch Lyceum, I studied Fashion Design at the Academy of Fine Arts St. Joost in Breda. After working at Studio Stylisti Luigi Coicca in Milan, Italy, I spent a decade working in textiles.
