I took the photo “The old city wall of Saint Malo” using a long shutter speed during a gray day at the beginning of autumn.
The walled city of Saint Malo on the coast of the English Channel has a long history of piracy and was heavily bombed in 1944.
Saint Malo on the Emerald Coast in northern Brittany has now become a popular tourist attraction with all the trimmings. Fortunately, the part within the city wall (Ville Intra-Muros) has retained some of the old atmosphere. Walking through some of the small streets, you feel like you're in another time for a moment.
