About the artwork

The comic strip, as you used to devour it in the PEP, Spirou or later in the Eppo, was just a two-page spread you looked forward to for a whole week. Picture by picture, with a cow bar and a glass of lemonade within reach, you swallowed the adventures of your favourite heroes. Thursday was without doubt the best day of the week, the day of the magazine man. On other days of the week it was all allowed to last a bit longer, but on Thursdays you sprinted home. Redbeard, Guust, Fantasio, Guus Slim and other heroes were waiting on the doormat.

My biggest hero was Michel Vaillant, along with his American friend Steve Watson and brother Jean-Pierre. The ghost in the night, the enemies of the Texas Driver's club, every adventure left an indelible impression. "Girl and Engines", as an album, harbours precious memories of my childhood. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
