The roll of toilet paper by Lauren Wilde

This work shows something mundane in a way that immediately evokes a smile: a simple roll of toilet paper, magnified into its protagonist. The minimalist image and powerful choice of colours suddenly give this everyday object character. The bright, warm yellow background creates a fresh and playful atmosphere and makes the white paper stand out almost graphically. The contrast between the soft white and the pronounced yellow makes the work light, cheerful and modern.

The roll of toilet paper is rendered clean and simple, with subtle shadows and light folds that give just enough depth. It is precisely these small details that make the image not feel flat but retain a certain elegance. It is humorous without being garish and playful without losing its style. That is precisely what makes this work so suitable for the smallest room.

This artwork does not take itself too seriously and invites you to look at art with a wink. It fits perfectly in a toilet or bathroom where you just want something different from standard decoration. Ideal for lovers of modern design, minimalist art and people with a sense of humour. With its calm composition and fresh look, it combines effortlessly with both clean, modern interiors and playful or colourful spaces.

An airy statement that shows that art is allowed to be everywhere - even where you might least expect it.
