About the artwork

Welcome to Fuerteventura, the second largest Canary Island, which attracts visitors with its endless beaches, impressive dune landscapes and a mild climate all year round. This trip will whisk you away to a world of sun, sand and the relaxed rhythm of the Atlantic.

Your adventure begins in Corralejo, a charming coastal town in the north of the island. The golden sandy beaches, such as Corralejo Beach, invite you to sunbathe, while the nearby dunes of the Parque Natural de las Dunas de Corralejo national park offer an impressive natural spectacle. Surfers can enjoy the waves of the Atlantic here, while beach bars and cafés provide the perfect place to relax.

Travel on to Jandía in the south of Fuerteventura, where endless sandy beaches and turquoise waters await you. Playa de Sotavento is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts in particular, while Playa de Cofete is an oasis of calm with its breathtaking dunes and views of the mountains.

Explore the historic heart of Fuerteventura in Betancuria. The charming little town, surrounded by mountains, is a window into the past. Visit the church of Santa María and the archaeological museum to learn more about the island's history. The surrounding countryside also offers great hiking opportunities.
