About the artwork

A once splendid and lush rose blossom that now remains in its wilted state. The once radiant, vibrant petals are now limp and losing their colour. Where once a wonderful fragrance filled the air, there is now a light, melodious breeze that sways the wilted petals back and forth.

The flower is characterised by a certain fragility, its once majestic appearance only faintly discernible through the remnants of its former beauty. The rich red and radiant pink have faded and given way to a pale, brown-yellow colour reminiscent of its lifespan.

The once vibrant and strong petals have lost their natural lustre and have collapsed into a delicate skin of withered petals. The once proudly raised centre of the flower has now shrunk and almost collapsed, as if the flower is breathing its last.

The wilted rose blossom still radiates a certain beauty, although it has long since lost its splendour. It tells the story of the ephemeral and reminds us how quickly time passes and beauty fades. Its once brilliant colour and beguiling fragrance leave only a hint of what it once was - a masterpiece of nature that is now doomed to decay.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
