About the artwork

This painting Thunder and Lightning in the Night is one of the most beautiful natural phenomena for me. The unpredictability of this natural phenomenon is so powerful and fast. But despite this powerful but beautiful natural phenomenon, it can also cause great havoc. How powerful is Nature to cause this phenomenon in the air by allowing warm and cool air to come together and box this up to cause thunderstorms. Mother Nature hats off to you for this performance, Thank you.

Perhaps I admire thunderstorms because where I live there are virtually no thunderstorms. But I also wanted to honor this natural phenomenon on a canvas. What natural phenomena I also find beautiful is Tornadoes. I can watch hours of TV with stories about tornadoes and how the clouds, seemingly so innocent, can conjure up something and make it disappear as if nothing had happened.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
