I spent a week in Romania in the winter of 2011.
The goal was to create black and white photos in the Carpathian mountains.
At Viseu de Sus, you find a place where time has stood still for another 100 years !.
Here live and work the workers of forestry.
Transporting the logs are still old-fashioned steam trains.
This railway has been around since 1932.
It has the name "The Vaser Valley Railway" but is also known under the name "Wassertalbahn"
This railway is 6 days a week in use and is the only railroad in Europe that is still used for timber transport.
It was a very special week with many photographic highlights.
In time I will add more photos to my shop this unique journey.
Thank you for your attention and have fun with your purchase.
Best regards,
