About "Togetherness"

About the artwork

Abstract representation of two people. Everyone is ordinary, everyone is special. What is important? The simple things in life are very special. Little moments of happiness. A familiar, sweet and happy moment with your loved one. A nice conversation. A view of the sea or the mountain. A person who says something very valuable to you. From my memory I portray these moments symbolically, always emphasizing the person. I portray the person or people (the other and 'I') in an abstract way. Therefore the emphasis is not on the specific appearance of a person, but on the emotion, the inner self and the interaction between people. The paintings are expressive, with big lines and colours. The ordinary becomes special and the extraordinary becomes ordinary. Because society puts so much emphasis on speed and achievement, I find it important to emphasize the ordinary and simple. That's why this series is called: Ordinary People.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
