Tijdens mijn rondreis door Italië verbleven we na Rome in het prachtige Verona (bekend van Romeo en Julia en zijn amfitheater waar elke dag en opera wordt uitgevoerd. Na het drukke grote - wat rommelige Rome, was deze overzichtelijke plaats met een heerlijke regionale keuken een verademing om te verblijven.
