About ‘Torre des Matzoc (Mallorca) | Van Gogh style’ by Peter Balan

The Torre des Matzoc is one of the 85 towers along the coast of Mallorca that were built in sight of each other for observation and defense purposes against the incursions of North African corsairs. The tower stands on the Morro d'Aubarca, a rocky cape between Cap de Ferrutx to the northwest and the southeast Cap des Freu.
