The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) is a museum on the campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC) in the Canadian city of Vancouver (British Columbia). Works of art and utensils from various world cultures are exhibited, especially the original inhabitants of the Northwest Coast.
The Haida houses outside the museum were built under the direction of Bill Reid, who, together with Doug Cranmer, carved many of the totem poles on display here. The original Reid / Cranmer totem pole which was mounted at the front of the big house, was replaced in 2000 by the new "Respect for Bill Reid Pole" by Haida artist Jim Hart.
