This red flower really splashes off your wall! The funny thing is that the example was a small cute yellow flower. The rugged look was created by using a small pallet knife to slide the paint across the paper. This gave me less control than using a brush, but it does give this unique style. The colours flow nicely because it is watercolour paint. The painting was photographed in such a way that the texture of the watercolour paper is still clearly visible. The original is 40 x 50 cm, but the nice thing about a print is that you can choose any size and material you want. This way, it always fits your interior perfectly. There is also a standing and square version of this painting. Curious about what else I have painted? My shop includes many different kinds of flowers and plants. From clean lines with white backgrounds to colourful yellow backgrounds or even with a golden edge. They can be found in the 'plants and flowers' and 'illustrations' folder. I used the following colours in the painting: red, yellow, pink, orange, green, blue and black.
