So here too, where, among other things, you can see Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren through one of the gates. ✏️ About Amersfoort Fotoprints As an avid photographer and proud resident of Amersfoort, I love taking long walks through the city. It doesn't matter if it is raining, snowing, windy, or the sun is shining. All conditions have something to offer. At least on a photographic level. As long as the light is interesting, I often walk the same round. I usually start at the Koppelpoort, and then walk via the Westsingel or the Breestraat to the Varkensmarkt or the Lieve Vrouwekerkhof. Then I cross Muurhuizen somewhere, to end at the Kamperbinnenpoort. Sometimes I even finish the round of Muurhuizen. From there, I walk back home, on De Kruiskamp. It has become a routine that mostly takes me to the same places, but still manages to surprise and bring me joy every time. Despite knowing the city well, it still harbours secrets for me. Although the corners in which these are hidden are getting smaller and smaller.
