A nice view of the Bica funicular in central Lisbon, which climbs the city's steep slopes.
Two of these trams pass through this small street. To bring the population from the higher part of the city, to sea level and vice versa.
The street itself, Rua daBica de Duarte Belo, is full of authentic houses and associated elements. Like the gorgeous street lamps. This does make for a rather busy scene, which is why I made most of the image black and white. This puts the focus even more on the tram and your eye, after this, only wanders further into the image.
It was a rainy morning in the city, this adds a nice extra element to this image. With the raindrops on the street and the tram. In the background, you can see people walking with umbrellas.
