A nice view of the Bica funicular in central Lisbon, which climbs the city's steep slopes.
Through this small street go two of these streetcars. To bring the population from the higher part of the city, to sea level and vice versa.
The street itself, Rua daBica de Duarte Belo, is full of authentic houses and associated elements. Such as the beautiful street lamps. This does make for a rather busy scene, which is why I made most of the image black and white. This puts the focus even more on the streetcar and your eye, after this, only wanders further into the image.
By going very low to the ground, the rails give a nice depth effect. Which brings your eye to the streetcar.
