The dandelion fluff symbolises hope, abandonment but also the spreading of wishes. This picture radiates something of simplicity and purity but at the same time something of fragility and transience. An eye-catcher that brings nature inside as a wall decoration.
When taking this photo, I chose a fairly shallow depth of field, creating a sense of depth in the photo and also giving it a calm atmosphere.
The Dandelion fluff is lying on a surface with small water droplets and therefore you can see reflections in the droplets and the ground and background take on a colour of mixed shades, with some parts being sharp and you can see the droplets lying down and some parts the droplets are faded to an abstract rendering or even almost faded to a fairly even colour.
